Meeting
17 April 2009
Dear Abingtons and Hildersham SLWF
Supporters..
We are sure that you will be aware that the three local Parish Councils
for Little Abington, Great Abington and Hildersham have organised a
meeting for the residents to examine the planning documents which Enertrag
submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council, and which have been
subsequently issued to local Parish Councils to consider. This
meeting is being held in the Abington Village Institute on Friday 17 April
2009 from 6.00 pm.
SLWF has been invited to make a brief presentation, such as we have
already done at Great Chesterford on 17 March.
We would like to have as many people as possible at this meeting and
urge you to raise whatever concerns you may have. It would probably
be advisable to keep to points concerning the impact on The Abingtons and
Hildersham, and the surrounding countryside, such as the potential noise
intrusion, landscape, A1307, health, Linton Zoo, lack of efficiency, etc.
Please try to find time to attend as this could be the final opportunity
you have to put your views to the Parish Councils before they make their
decision. If you know of any friend or neighbour who objects to the
application, it would be most helpful if you would kindly pass the
information on to them.
