How
To Object
It is still at an
early stage in the planning application and Enertrag have yet to submit a
full planning application. So until that application is received it is less
useful to write to the Planning Department as they will take the view that
there is no guarantee that a planning application will materialise.
Enertrag’s
current timetable envisages the application arriving with the Council in
October and this is the period where they consult with the local residents
to gain their opinions so that they can be taken into account in the final
planning application. They have indicated a deadline of 31st
August as their cut-off for considering local views.
So the best way of
registering your objection is firstly to become a member of our campaign. (Go
to
membership page) The more members we have the more we can show that
local public opinion is strongly against this wind farm and that it is not
just being opposed by a vocal minority of Nimbys. Also talk to your friends
and neighbours and try and get them to join, the biggest problem the
campaign faces is the apathy of people believing it will not affect them.
Remember each person should join individually. Print off your own StopLWF
poster to display in your window or on a sign on your property.

Then write or
email Enertrag with the concerns that you have about their proposal and copy
your letter/email to your local District Councillor so that they too are
aware of your issues.

page.
Please do not leave it to others to fight this on your
behalf. If we don’t succeed then you may have 25 years of saying if only!!
