Membership of the Action Group is free but we need to raise funds through both donations and fundraising to mount an effective campaign against a planning application on this scale. Having looked at other similar campaigns, such as the Stop Cambridge Wind Farm group at Boxworth, it appears that we need up to £15,000 to get to the stage of having the application turned down by South Cambridgeshire District Council. We see the funds being spent on:

* Producing newsletters and posters

* Maintaining a website

* Holding public meetings

* Producing an authoritative and exhaustive rebuttal of the planning application

* Employing independent experts where technical expertise is required

We are looking at putting a Pay Pal facility on this site so you can pay through the website. But for now if you are willing to support this campaign financially then please send a cheque made payable to Stop Linton Wind Farm to: The Treasurer, c/o  Little Paddocks, Cow Lane, Great Chesterford CB10 1RJ. Also if you prefer to contribute monthly then if you let us know we can let you have a standing order form.

Remember the worst thing that could happen would be to see the scheme approved and be saying "If only……." We only have one chance to get this inappropriate scheme turned down if we fail then this part of the world, its villages, countryside and quality of life will be changed for the worse for ever!
